service through yoga

Come explore “seva” or “selfless service” with yoga, mindfulness and hands-on community work.  Join Jenn McCracken ~ each month will focus on a new element of the yoga of service: why we serve, serving from the heart, finding purpose through serving, service on and off the mat, and avoiding burn-out when we serve.  Each class will consist of a seva in yogic tradition, a yoga practice focusing on opening our hearts to be of service, and a meditation.

The yoga class and meditation is for all-levels, from beginners to more experienced yogis.  Plenty of variations will be given as we find our postures so all can participate.

We would love to support you in diving deeper into service, an important aspect of our yoga practice.  This class is appropriate for adults and teens – a great opportunity for anyone looking to expand their role both within themselves and in the community!

This is a FREE offering, but registration is required.

Conshy GreenFest will be a fun community day where numerous activities and educational booths will be set up regarding things our community can do to be more sustainable today.

Come enjoy fun exhibits and interactive learning opportunities on composting, tree planting, native plants, renewable energy, electric cars & bikes and many more.
There will also be an e-waste (electronic) recycling point during the event, so bring your old computers, cell phones, used batteries and other electronic devices!
