Prenatal, Postnatal & Kids Yoga

Specialty offerings for Mamas to be and new parents, as well as classes for little ones.

Prenatal:  this class helps prepare the body and mind for pregnancy, labor and delivery. This class is highly encouraged for pregnant women who are new to the yoga practice, as well as students with a more consistent practice that are looking to learn modifications and variations to support their practice throughout pregnancy.

Postnatal: this class helps women increase energy, release tension/stress held in specific parts of the body, and regain strength, all while being in community with other women. Appropriate for post birth and adoption. Each class will include movement, community building, breath work, and relaxation. It is recommended that students speak with their midwife or physician before beginning any physical activity. Please note this is not a Baby & Me class.

Baby & Me – Ages – infant through pre-walking  This class will incorporate movement and asanas for the caregiver and for the baby. Practicing Yoga with a baby is a great way to build a sacred connection with a baby and meet others in our community at large. Yoga provides visual, tactile, auditory, and physical stimulation that develops a baby’s overall learning and growth.

Little Yogis – Ages 3-5:  Even our littlest yogis find the physical, mental and emotional benefits of a yoga practice! From stretching and strengthening immune systems to creating a great sense of calm to boosting confidence, yoga can support your little one’s development. Using age appropriate games and storytelling, this class will give your child tools to help regulate their nervous systems and find more ease.
