yoga for sleep

Do you ever struggle to sleep?  Yoga for Sleep will explore the science and the embodied practice of teaching your body to relax and sleep.  The first portion of the class will be a lecture, exploring Sleep hygiene, neuroscience of sleep, and benefits  and history of yoga nidra.  The second half will be.a yoga nidra, an embodied meditative rest practice, with just one pose; savasana (or any other comfortable restful posture for you)!  Space will be provided for questions and discussion.

Yoga for Sleep is offered in-studio (space is limited) and virtually, so you can practice from anywhere.  Props will be provided in-studio, including blankets, bolsters and blocks.  Please bring your own eye pillow (also available for sale at the studio) if you wish.

Virtual students, please make sure you have props or anything you need to feel comfortable for our prolonged relaxation
