Yoga for Grief – Virtual Series

Yoga for Grief – Virtual Series

Most of us carry grief in our bodies in some way. Grief is caused by loss of loved ones, loss of jobs, of homes, of business, relationships and more. When left unattended, it can manifest into mental, physical and emotional strain. Yoga and meditation are pathways to move some of the grief energy through the body in a constructive manner.

In this six-week series, we’ll spend time addressing how grief is showing up for you and use movement, breath and mindfulness exercises to process. Grief can feel incredibly isolating; being with others can remind us that we’re not alone, allow us to drop deeper into our feelings and acknowledge the pain we feel is real. No experience is needed; only a willingness to show up. Brand new beginners will find plenty of direction on all aspects of our practice and more experienced yogis will discover ways to use their practice to support healing.

Led by Yoga Home Co-founder, Kerri Hanlon, this program takes place in a virtual setting so you can join from anywhere. You’re welcome to join via livestream and/or will have access to sessions for the duration of the series. Offered as a 6-week series so you can learn specific techniques, work towards building a home practice that you can do anytime, as well as find companionship and community. Drop-ins are also welcome, but we encourage participation in full series, if possible.

Dates:

Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30.  Series runs April 11th – May 16th.
