yoga for caregivers retreat, april 17 -19

If I had seen an offering like this when I was in the midst of caring for my son, Sean, there’s a strong likelihood I would have said, “well that looks great, but NO WAY can I carve out the time, I can’t leave Sean that long, etc.” And the reality is, I needed to take time, to refresh, recharge and allow myself to acknowledge the very real HARD and HEART work that is caregiving.
If you know of someone who might benefit from a weekend dedicated to renewing the mind, body and spirit in a very nurturing way, please consider sharing this with them. Sometimes a gentle nudge from a loved one is what’s needed, to be given permission to step aside for a few days.

While this is called “Yoga” for caregivers, please know that no yoga experience is required. Our practices will focus more on gentle movements to ease tightness in areas commonly associated with caregiving. Time for reflection, time to remember who we are.

Space is very limited to allow for individual attention (including a little head massage like Geneva is enjoying above.) Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have. ~ Kerri Hanlon kerri@ouryogahome.com
