New Year’s Eve: Honoring Endings and Beginnings – with Maura

January 31, 4-6pm

NYE 2020 YOGA HOME

Join Maura Manzo for an embodied and ritualized practice to honor the past year and open to the year ahead. We’ll start slow and mindfully and then build to a more vigorous Vinyasa practice built around Mandala Namaskar before moving into long, held restorative poses. Elements of breath work and meditation will be weaved throughout as stopping points of integration and reflection, symbolic of how we move through the world. Class will culminate with visualization and a long rest.

Returning of the Light: A New Years Day Yoga, Meditation, and Journaling Practice – with Candace

January 1st at 10am with Candace

This class is an invitation to begin 2021 with release and intention. The practice will start with mindful vinyasa, slow down for deeper holds and releases, and meditation during which we’ll hold space for potential the new year may hold.

wheels of divine energies – 5 week chakra series – with Steph

Beyond our physical body, there is a subtle body that holds wisdom, energy and truth. Have you ever wanted to learn more about the Chakra system? Are you curious about how they connect us to our yoga practice? Join Steph Spangler for a 5 week series based on the Chakras. Visual materials and optional homework will be provided each week. Please bring a journal, pen and your yoga mat to each class. This workshop is recommended for students with an experienced Vinyasa practice .

Let 2021 be the year you incorporate meditation into your life. Join Yoga Home co-founder Maura Manzo for a 9-day kickstart that will leave you both informed and motivated to practice meditation. We’ll start with a 1 hour workshop to review all the things you need to know to get started – what do I wear? how do I sit? what do I do with my hands? – and then we’ll venture into 8 days of a daily practice together, every morning 7a EST.

Yoga for the Winter Blues is a four week series exploring and mitigating the effects of shorter days, colder weather, isolation due to the pandemic, and depression in general.  Some days, we may need to meet ourselves where we are; with deep rest, restorative practices, and inward space.  Other days, it may be necessary to cultivate the light and heat we are missing in the natural world.  This series explores how to honor both, utilizing techniques from therapy, yoga, and mindfulness.

New to Yoga –with Kerri

Looking to kick off the New Year with a practice to relieve stress, increase strength and flexibility and find greater purpose and calm? Join Yoga Home co-founder Kerri Hanlon and step into 2021 committed to your physical and mental health. This 4 week series will teach the basics of a yoga practice, including postures, breath work, philosophy and more. This class is highly encouraged for any students new to the practice — gain experience and confidence in preparation for many of the classes on our regular schedule. Class includes personal guidance, time for questions and additional readings. Kerri specializes in adapting the yoga practice for all abilities, so no matter your age, fitness level or size, you’ll find YOUR practice. SPACE IS LIMITED – PRE-REGISTRATION HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
