Yin Yoga Immersion + Training – The Body as a Portal
Explore Yin yoga ~ and the body as a portal. This 4-week module will help you see that everything that seek exists within you. Join us in-person for a weekend, which includes at least one full yin yoga class, lecture and dialogue, as well as exploring different breathing and energetic practices. Then, join a 4-week online study including practices and dialogue.
This Module is the third part of our 125-hour Yin Yoga Training and Immersion, for yoga teachers and serious students alike. Attendance at the prior two modules is not necessary to attend this module.
Weekend In-Person Training Hours: Friday 6-9, Saturday 12:30p-6p, Sunday 12-5p, at Yoga Home
Online Practices: Wednesdays, 7:30-8:45p, through Maura’s online studio
Module 3 – The Body as a Portal: Everything you seek exists within you. Develop a deeper understanding of the language of the body. Includes:
- The Nervous System
- Subtle energy
- The language of the body
- Alternate nostril purification technique
4 Week Immersion: 25 hours: April 12th – May 8th
- April 12-14: in-person / April 17 – May 8; online
Requirements for 125 Hr-Yin Training and Immersions:
- Books: The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga – The Philosophy of Practice of Yin, Bernie Clark, 2nd Edition
- Yoga Props: Mat, Blanket, Bolster, 2 Blocks, Strap. You will need these for home practice. Yoga Home offers props for in-person weekends.
- Spotify Account: for additional audio resources & podcasts. A free account is enough to be able to access playlist Maura has created.
- All modules include a training manual.
