Winter Solstice Class

On the darkest night of the year, we gather together together to lean into fertile darkness and to celebrate the return of the light. We’ll begin with pulling cards and journaling, shift to a candle-gazing, and practice restorative yoga and yoga nidra. We’ll release the year and explore intention setting for restorative darkness and the returning of the light. This practices aims to connect us more deeply the cycle of nature, and we’ll explore practices to sustain us through the season.

About Candace Stevens:

Candace (she/her) has spent years connecting to the flow of nature, following her teacher Shiva Rea’s mandala of the year and allowing nature to be her teacher. Candace has been teaching yoga since 2010, and has been holding space as a workshop facilitator for a decade, both as a yoga teacher and a therapist. She is a senior member of Yoga Home’s Teaching Team, named Conshohocken’s Best Yoga Studio, and a member of the 200 hour Yoga Home Teacher Training Team.
