This month Yoga Home will be partnering with Laurel House. Mother’s Day is May 12th, and we love celebrating all things connected to the mother spirit. Our hope is to empower mothers, especially those who may need support. Laurel House helps those impacted with domestic violence. The mission of Laurel House is to:

• “Advocate for and empower those impacted by domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, safe haven, supportive programs and resources.”
• “Advance social change through preventative education and through community training and collaboration to foster a coordinated response to domestic abuse.”

This month we are collecting diapers, plastic storage containers, toilet paper, tissues, Africa-American hair products, pack-n-plays, individually wrapped snacks, gift cards, feminine hygiene products, women’s pajamas, yoga clothes, slippers, and so much more. “Laurel House has grown into a comprehensive domestic violence agency, providing supportive services, as well as dating violence and domestic violence prevention education throughout Montgomery County”.

We will be collecting through May 31st.
