chair yoga – in-person classes

We’re delighted to bring Chair yoga as in-person classes!  This is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced seated on a chair or standing using a chair for support. Ideal for those seeking the physical and mental benefits of yoga who have limited mobility or balance as a result of the aging process, injury or other medical issues. Expect to experience the many benefits of practice, including stress reduction, increased flexibility and strength, and cultivating the mind-body connection.

This class will be taught by Kerri Hanlon, co-founder and creator of the Adaptive Yoga Program at Yoga Home. Kerri specializes in making yoga accessible for all.

This class is offered in partnership with The Community Center at the Fel.  (5th and Harry Streets, click on link for more).

Class is Thursdays, 9:30-10:30.  New for 2022 – Register through Yoga Home.  You can purchase a single class or use a 10 class pack if you plan on joining us for other classes on our schedule.

All participants must be vaccinated and masked.  Participants will be spaced based on COVID guidelines and class size is limited to 12.  We will supply chairs, please bring a belt or yoga strap, blocks if you have them.
