As a former dancer, Anja stepped into yoga classes seeking out physical practice. In 2015, Anja took advantage of a summer student special offered at Yoga Home. That summer, Anja fell in love with the practice on a deeper level. The physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits were undeniable. It was through yoga, Anja learned to be present and find gratitude in her daily life. The sense of peace and community that yoga brought Anja pushed her to complete her 200-hour training in 2020. This proved to be a greater catalyst for change, leading Anja to a career change in 2021. Anja is a graduate student studying to become a School Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Outside of yoga, Anja enjoys exercising, reading, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Scout and fiancé, Will. In her classes, Anja strives to provide a balanced physical practice that incorporates mindfulness and promotes feelings of calm, acceptance, and contentment.
