an attitude of gratitude – november community initiative

Entering into the Fall, we are invited to practice gratitude for the growth we experienced in the Spring and Summer months. And, this isn’t always easy. Autumn is a time to reflect on the transformations we’ve undergone, acknowledge our hard/heart work, and recognize one another for how important the support of community is to our growth. Showing gratitude helps us to accept the state of our current lives and step into the present – offering the opportunity for healing, well-being, and happiness.

To us, yoga can incorporate the practice of showing gratitude to our mind, body, and spirit – all that they are capable of, all that they let us experience – and honoring the present through the connection of these aspects of ourselves. And if nothing else, grateful for the gift of our next breath!

For the month of November, we’ll look to put our gratitude into action in a variety of different ways. We hope you’ll join us!

ConshyStuff Food Drive benefiting the Colonial Neighborhood Council

From November 1 -30, we are collecting canned goods in partnership with other Conshohocken business to support our local community. Items appreciated include: cereal, pasta, sauces, soups, tuna fish, baby good, nut butters, jams, canned meats & veggies. As a staff team, we are also volunteering for CNC’s Meals on Wheels home delivery service.

On November 24th, we are looking forward to hosting our annual Gratitude Feast, which has become a cherished tradition at Yoga Home – what better way to celebrate and connect with each other than over a shared meal?  2-4pm – Free Community Potluck, Open to the public, kid-friendly, BYO-Place Setting RSVP HERE

Also a treasured tradition at Yoga Home is our Gratitude Tree – a simple way to celebrate and share what we are thankful for with others! Grab a leaf, fill out it and hang it up!
