january community initiative: animal shelter collection
As we enter the New Year, we kick-off our community initiative for January! Thank you to all who donated canned goods for the Colonial Neighborhood Council last month!
This month we are donating to local animal shelters. After the holidays, they become crowded with animals that were given as gifts that new owners cannot take care of. They are in need of cleaning supplies and animal food. We are excited to donate to PAWS and The Philadelphia Bully Crew as members of our community have very close ties with these organizations. The Donation Bin can be found in our community space!
Below you find some of their wishlist items:
- Linens
- Canned dog, cat, and kitten food (pate-style preferred; no dry food, please)
- Bleach
- Laundry detergent
- Paper towels
- Trash bags (heavy duty/contractor)
- Clay cat litter (non-clumping)
- Kong brand dog toys
- Cat toys
- Fleece blankets
- Dog crates and carriers (new or used, all sizes)
- Petsmart Gift Cards
- “Wee-wee pads”
