Rose DiSanto

she/her/hers

Rose has been a student of yoga for more than 30 years—first finding herself in a Baron Baptiste power yoga class as a means of strengthening and conditioning for her one (and only!) Boston Marathon run. Like many students of yoga, she discovered the many other benefits of a yoga practice and has since returned to her mat time and time again to find inner strength, stillness, and peace.

Rose’s classes are rooted in philosophy and practice. She brings a sense of humility to her teaching and encourages her students to tap into their own bodies to find what they need in the moment. Students in Rose’s class can expect a grounding, soothing practice with opportunities for challenge or rest.

Rose received her 200-hour teacher training at Yoga Garden in Narberth with Mark Nelson and Nikki Robinson. She continues her yoga training by taking workshops and certification courses as often as she can and has studied with Rolf Gates, Greg Walsh, Dana Falsetti, Kerri Hanlon, Maura Manzo, Cicelee Chappelle, Rachael Hunter, Kristin Page and many other teachers. When not on her mat, Rose runs a successful graphic design studio and teaches graphic design at Jefferson University. She sits on the board of Roots2Rise, a nonprofit committed to bringing yoga and mindfulness to communities and neighborhoods all across Philadelphia.
