Work Exchange Team:
In exchange for one, 4-hour shift per week, you will receive an in-studio and online yoga membership, discounts on workshop and retail, and the opportunity to be a part of a community united in a common purpose.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in clients for class; maintaining overall ambience of the studio
- Upkeep of front desk, studio, community space, and bathrooms
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Selling memberships and class packages
- Retail sales, including restocking and display maintenance, if necessary
- Project based responsibilities per shift
Expectations:
- Be a Yoga Home Brand Ambassador and embody Yoga Home’s values of connection, acceptance, community, love, and growth
- Practice yoga and have a general understanding of class descriptions on Yoga Home schedule
- Be able to work independently, creatively problem solve, and multitask with ease
- Complete at least three training shifts, including three training hours on Yoga Home’s software
- Maintain a level of professionalism and friendliness at all times, especially during the busiest times at Front Desk
- Communicate any problems or concerns to Management in a timely fashion, reporting directly to Studio Manager
- Cover all shifts independently; provide flexibility with scheduling; provide support to other team members
- Manage schedule via Yoga Home’s selected software
- Practice at Yoga Home a minimum of once per week; practice a variety of styles with a variety of teachers
- Provide new ideas and feedback to support the growth of the Yoga Home community
- Minimum 6-month commitment
