Yoga for Caregivers with Kerri Hanlon

Join Yoga Home co-founder Kerri Hanlon for an afternoon designed to restore your body, mind and heart. During this workshop you’ll set aside the needs of others and allow yourself to drop into a safe space of taking care of your needs.

Whether you are a caregiver personally or professionally, you’re likely familiar with the physical and emotional demands. We’ll explore pathways to releasing stress in areas of the body caregivers tend to overwork, including shoulders, neck and back. The second part of our class will be a restorative practice, with emphasis on releasing all physical effort so the body can completely rest, the nervous system can decompress and the mind can enjoy space to roam. You’ll leave feeling empowered, energized and ready to resume your critical caregiver role with new strength, vitality and peace.

Appropriate for all levels, including those with no prior yoga experience. More experienced yogis will appreciate the space allowed to drop deeper into their practice.

Students are encouraged to dress in layers and bring a journal or notebook.
