In late 2017, I moved right down the street from Yoga Home, and when I first walked by the studio, I thought back to the P90X yoga workouts I did about 8 years ago at my house (was not a fan of those). After doing some reading up on the benefits of yoga I thought I would give it another shot. My girlfriend Kathleen (also a member at Yoga Home) and I decided to do what we called the “Warrior 100 Challenge” where we both committed to 100 yoga classes in 2018. I had probably done yoga about a dozen times before coming to Yoga Home, so this seemed to be quite the challenge. Turns out this was not only rewarding, but I also look forward to every class I take at Yoga Home. I have tried a few different classes, but Power Flow was my favorite, because I really enjoy the physical and mental challenge that the class presents. This pursuit has taught me a number of things about both myself and the general practice of yoga. What was most surprising to me was the mental clarity I achieved with a regular practice and how I am more flexible than I thought . With coaching from a number of the instructors at the studio, I have been able to improve my form and get the most out of my practice. Without a doubt- I will continue to practice yoga from now on.

Thanks,

Evan
