The wall has been with you since you first stepped onto your mat…now discover how it will help you dive more deeply into your teaching. The wall can provide Yoga Teachers with ways in which to assist in teaching various alignment, strengthening, stretching, inversion and arm balance techniques to their students. Participants will learn specific and detailed ways to incorporate the wall in their teaching, will learn over 85 wall variations and at the completion of the training will be able to teach a variety of wall vinyasa classes ranging from a beginner to an advanced wall practice. Each participant will receive a training manual as well as a certificate of completion.
Erica Taxin Bleznak, MSW, CYT began practicing yoga in 1986 in the Asthanga Yoga tradition until she met her Primary Teacher Yoganand Michael Carroll in 1992 and complete her yoga teacher training in the Pranakryia Yoga teaching tradition. Erica co-owned Jai Yoga Studio of the Mainline for 7 years until its closing and opened Main Line Yoga Shala in Narberth in 2016. Six years ago she created a teaching curriculum for a Wall Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training program that allows students to utilize the wall as a prop for alignment and refinement, as well as a way to strengthen and deepen in the vinyasa practice. Erica travels frequently presenting at festivals and studios across the country, as well as hosts retreats internationally. Erica believes that if we can meet the practice with patience, curiosity and breath that the it will deliver us beyond the ways the mind has held us captive and reveal our inherent freedom.register
