Born in the United Kingdom and now based in suburban Philadelphia, Rachael first stepped onto her mat in 1996 curious about how yoga could complement a very active lifestyle.
The mindful movement and breath awareness of asana practice offered a safe space to explore body mind and soul. The openness, focus and clarity that the practice provides and the calmness and stillness it creates are the elements that continue to bring her back to her mat time after time.
Rachael is a graduate of the 200h teacher training at Verge Yoga Center, completed her Yin Yoga training with Corinna Benner and is currently engaged in the Pranakriya School of Yogic Healing Arts 300h certification with Yoganand Michael Carroll. She is grateful to study with local and national teachers including Simon Park, Marlysa Sullivan, Mark Nelson, Corina Benner, Erica Bleznak and Julie Pogachefsky.
Using clear instruction to build a proper foundation of alignment for “every” body, her classes aim to empower students to dive deeper into their own practice and discover the long term benefits of uniting body, mind and breath.
