Which Class is Right for You

If you are looking for a slower paced class or are working with any limitations in your body, our regularly scheduled Gentle, Restorative, Yin and Basics may be a suitable option. If you have questions about which option is right for you, please chat with one of our team members! You can review all of our class style descriptions here.

As a reminder, we offer all new students to the studio an introductory offer of 2 weeks unlimited classes for only $30. This will give you the opportunity to try different teachers and class styles to find the right class for you!

What to Expect

Classes at Yoga Home include asana (poses), adjustments or alignment assistance, and mindfulness. They may also include pranayama (breathing exercise) chanting, mantra, meditation and philosophy. Please notify the teacher at the beginning of class of any injuries you may have including recent surgeries, if you are pregnant and/or if you have preferences in regards to hands-on adjustments. We offer many different styles so you can expect to find a class suitable for your skill level, regardless of if you are a beginner or advanced. For a full list of our different styles of classes, please read our Class Descriptions.

What to Bring

We make it easy for you to come to your first class. Dress in comfortable clothes (not too loose!), bring a water bottle and a towel. If you have a mat, great. If not, we have mats for rent or for purchase. Also on-site are men and women’s changing areas and showers. When arriving for your first class, we recommend coming 15 minutes early so we can get you into our system and give you a tour. This will also give you time to talk to the teacher if you have any specific questions, if you need him/her to be aware of any injuries or challenges in your body, or just to introduce your self. We ask that all students leave shoes, personal belongings and cell phones outside of the studio. Please make sure cell phones are turned off. Yoga practice is a time to unplug and unwind!
