Meditation Series

This 4-week meditation series is for the beginner and the experienced! Each week we will explore a different type of meditation. The goal of this series is to learn more about meditation, including identifying which style of meditation aligns best with you. Besides a 30-minute in-person practice (in studio or live streamed!), you will receive a guide on how to begin, weekly check-ins and journal prompts, and information about each type of meditation we are practicing.
  • Week One- Introduction to Meditation and Breath Meditation.
  • Week Two- Guided Meditation.
  • Week Three- Manifestation Meditation.
  • Week Four- Loving Kindness Meditation.

Meditation is a practice that has been around for thousands of years- at its center it is a process of training the mind to focus and redirect your thoughts to the present moment. We learn to recognize the patterns and tendencies of our minds and find tools to bring ourselves to a calm state.

The benefits of meditation are numerous- studies on those who develop a meditation practice have shown that people have less anxiety, lower blood pressure, better sleep quality, experience enhanced concentration and memory, feel the reduction of stress and depression, and strengthens self-compassion and connection once their practice is established. There are so many more advantages of meditation for your health and well-being that we will explore, and I hope you feel!!

Join us Thursdays, February 8th – 29th, 5:00 – 5:300pm

About your presenter:

Jenn McCracken

Jenn (she/her) began her journey on her mat in 2007 when her friends encouraged her to try a Power Flow yoga class during college. She was instantly hooked and began practicing regularly to develop a stronger and more flexible body in order to complement running. Over time, yoga became more of a lifestyle than a workout. After several years of developing her own practice, she felt the call to share the benefits of yoga with others. Jenn has trained extensively, receiving 200 hr certifications from Power Yoga Works and Beyond Asana. She has certificates to teach prenatal yoga through Ryah Dekis of Nectar and Nurture Yoga, restorative yoga with Angela Boltz, and kid’s yoga through Yoga Life Institute (she served as an ambassador with Next Generation Yoga). Noticing the benefits of meditation in her life, Jenn studied meditation practices and techniques with Cyndi Lee to teach meditation. Her classes focus on breath work, embody positive energy, and encourage students to tap into their best selves. Jenn enjoys teaching people in all stages of life. Jenn’s favorite part of her day is spending time with her husband Sean and their three kids in the wonderful Conshohocken community she calls home.
