Liza found a love of yoga while recovering from back surgery in August of 2012. In October of 2015, with the love and encouragement of her teacher, Bridget Yanni, she completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Amma Yanni Center and School. The practice of yoga has taught Liza strength, confidence, self-love, patience, power, flexibility, kindness, and balance.
Liza truly believes that yoga is accessible for all. Attending yoga retreats is something she looks forward to every year. As her personal practice evolves so does her love for other limbs of yoga. She knew she needed a change in her life, and Liza quit corporate America in December of 2018, and yoga home became her new home.
When Liza is not teaching or practicing you can find her jumping out of planes, traveling the world, laughing, trying new restaurants, reading, and spending time with loved ones. Liza believes that connections are essential to building a strong community. Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself to her! Liza is a graduate of Ithaca College with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Sciences.
