Yoga for All: Chair Yoga with Co-Owner Kerri Hanlon

At Yoga Home we believe that yoga is accessible to EVERY body. Using a chair as a prop is a great way to get into various poses adapting them to the specific needs of each individual.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support.

It is ideal for those seeking the physical and mental benefits of yoga–including stress reduction, increased flexibilty and developing the mind-body connection–who have limited mobilty or balance as a result of the aging process or medical issues including stroke, Parkinson’s and others.

Yoga Home is currently offering Chair Yoga every Monday at 9:30am with Meghan Dwyer.  Private sessions for Chair Yoga are also available at the studio.
