After completing the Philadelphia Marathon in 2011, Alicia was ready for a break from running and was happy to have more time back in her schedule for yoga. Until then yoga had been more of a hobby than a priority. That changed in January 2012 when she registered for the 200 hour Teacher Training at Dana Hot Yoga in Bala Cynwyd, PA. Yoga has been a consistent and life-affirming priority ever since. Finding gratitude on and off of the mat is a driving force in Alicia’s life and she aims to bring positivity, acceptance, and a sense of calm to her classes, while practicing safe alignment. She encourages students to find a path that speaks to their mind, body, and spirit, while challenging themselves to greet their practice with acceptance and joy. Alicia has a passion for travel and one of her favorite activities is checking out yoga classes in new cities. In addition to the Philadelphia area, she’s had the privilege to teach many classes in Madison, WI and Heidelberg, Germany.
