Yoga for Caregivers

We also recognize the importance of caring for the caregiver and support these individuals in a number of ways.

  • Caregivers attend Adaptive Yoga Classes for free, allowing them to not only support their loved one, but find a community that supports them as well.
  • Yoga Home is proud to provide Yoga for Caregivers at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  Having experienced the challenge of being a mother to a child with significant medical issues, Kerri knows what is like to spend days and weeks in the hospital setting.  She now visits the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, providing caregivers with yoga and mindfulness breaks.  She also co-teaches the CHOP Staff Yoga for Caregivers Class.
  • Yoga for Caregivers Mini-Retreats are opportunities for caregivers to set aside needs of others and focus on themselves for an afternoon of mindful movement, breath and meditation.
