The Accessible Yoga Conference ~ NYC

A Note from Kerri ~

The concept of accessible yoga is pretty simple – Connected.  Included.  Empowered.  Sound familiar?  Of course it does – because this is our practice of yoga.

This weekend I was invited to embrace the body of someone who’s in cancer treatment, has MS, an amputee, a quadriplegic and some in their final days of life. All of these populations are wildly underserved when it comes to finding access to yoga. I’m humbled by the people doing this work and committed to helping more people find the pathway to yoga.

Philly, get ready!

Approach training with curiosity – who knew flippers could be used to simulate foot drop many students with MS experience.
